We are currently recruiting for an exciting role with a fantastic company as part of the Senior Management team as a Group HR Manager, working as part of a small hands on HR team. This is an excellent time to join as the business is continuing to grow.

The role itself will be very much an all round position, so Generalist experience is essential as well as being CIPD Qualified (level 5 or above). Duties include but not limited to:

  • Identifying and leading HR projects
  • Managing a team
  • Supporting the executive board to ensure continued development of culture
  • Communicating regularly with employees on business goals and strategies
  • Implementing and overseeing learning and development strategies
  • Assist with developing a succession plan strategy
  • Developing the HR and payroll system
  • Leading appraisals and performance reviews and well as disciplinaries and disputes when necessary
  • Updating and overseeing employee information and records
  • Managing and overseeing the recruitment process, liaising with managers and agencies to enable a structured onboarding and offboarding process
  • Managing multiple payrolls for employees as well as coordinating holidays/sickness/absence and parental leave
  • Managing the apprenticeship intake so apprenticeship levy experience is ideal.

Candidates will have

  • Strong background within an HR Manager leadership role
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
  • Previous payroll experience
  • Able to work in a busy environment
  • Proactive and approachable
  • Own transport and drivers licence as you will need to visit various sites on a regular basis (please only apply if you are happy to travel)

Candidates will be offered a competitive salary dependent on experience - from £45k +
